It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of David Oakley, 20th July 1926 – 16th April 2023. He was beloved husband of the late Ula Oakley and father of Jonathan and Nicholas. You are warmly invited to his Celebration of Life which will be held at St James’s Church Elstead at 11.00 on Friday 26th May. When I walked into Alan Greenwood’s on the 5th November I didn’t know where or how I was going to organise my lovely Mum’s funeral and the thought of it horrified me, you made a daunting job so much easier and were there to guide me all the way until the day of the funeral.”
