In loving memory of Lynn Stewart
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Lynn Elizabeth Stewart, who died peacefully on April 13th after a brave 12-year battle with cancer.
Lynn was born on May 6th 1963 in Lanchester, County Durham, growing up alongside her brother Fred and sisters Karen and Julie. She later moved down to Surrey to start a new chapter with her husband, Alec. Together they built a happy life filled with love, laughter, and eventually a family. She was the proud and devoted mum of two children, Andrew and Emily.
Lynn was a remarkable source of joy – a warm, kind-hearted lady whose infectious smile and laughter could brighten up a day in an instant. Her strength over the past decade was a remarkable feat, and she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
While flowers and condolences are always appreciated, Emily is running the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise funds for The Royal Marsden, a charity that provided incredible care and support throughout Lynn’s illness. If you would like to honour Lynn’s memory, donations would be greatly appreciated.
